Why a storm can be so soothing
There's something about being warm inside while a storm rolls past. The heavy rain gives you a thick, full sound, and the occasional thunder is far enough away to feel cozy rather than startling.
Too much thunder?
If the rumbles keep you up, switch to plain rain, or keep the storm low in the mixer with the fan underneath to smooth it out.
